Cesarean Recovery

    1. Acupuncture to restore the integrity of the fascial system (structure / fluidity Cesarean scars cross a highway of essential meridians / or fascial pathways - six separate acupuncture meridians are cut during this surgery.

    2. Moxibustion ("Moxa") to warm the scar and encourage recovery. The OR room is frigid compared to your internal body temparture, it's important to warm the scar afterwards to bring qi, blood nutrients to the local area to facilitate healing.
